Hoof Wall Defects

Quarter cracks, toe cracks, sand cracks, all forms of hoof wall defects are addressed. Composite reconstruction is performed as required, but of greater importance, the underlying cause of the injury needs to be identified and corrected. Radiographs, gait evaluation, thorough clinical examination, high speed video and lameness assessment can all be employed to determine and help correct the cause of the hoof defect.
