Dr. Silverman carries a complete digital x-ray system with him at all times in the truck. This portable radiography unit does not use film, but captures the images in an electronic format. The image can be viewed immediately after taking the shot on a computer screen within the system. This technology eliminates the need for film to be developed, increases the precision of the shots, and greatly increases the capability of diagnostic interpretation with image enhancement options.
